New book on gender and peace movements

Renowned academic Cynthia Cockburn has released her new book ‘antiMILITARISM: Political and gender dynamics of peace movements’. It includes a case study on IANSA and the Women’s Network, focusing on members in Uganda including the Eastern Africa Sub-Regional Support Initiative for Women’s Advancement (EASSI), the Center for Conflict Resolution (CECORE), the Uganda Joint Christian Council (UJCC) and the Uganda Action Network on Small Arms (UANSA)
